How does the solution work?
The result of a transfer of technologies developed by INRA, the CNRS and the University of Lorraine, through the Soil and Environment Laboratory, the AgroPhyto® process supports stakeholders in managing the risks of polluted sites and soils while contributing to soil regeneration, which can help meet secondary objectives, whether economic (e.g. production of valuable plant biomass), environmental (e.g. promotion of biodiversity, carbon sequestration, water infiltration) or social (e.g. educational spaces, reappropriation of land). AgroPhyto® is based on a conditional, progressive and site-specific process, allowing the technical, operational and economic feasibility of the solution to be validated at each stage in relation to the study site. If applicable, what is the added value compared to conventional solutions?
AgroPhyto® does not destroy soils by decontaminating or managing pollution. On the contrary, AgroPhyto® contributes to soil regeneration and its transformation into living soil as a secondary effect.
